Mitchell is a proud Bidjigal man from La Perouse in south-east Sydney, passionate about growing the Indigenous business sector and giving back to the community.
After working in the IT industry for almost 15yr providing technology services to small business customers, Mitchell discovered the emerging supplier diversity trend in late 2011 and pivoted from IT into workplace supplies.
Mitchell has over 20 years of sales and customer engagement experience along with 10 years of business management and strategic planning expertise.
In his spare time, Mitchell loves spending time with his family and friends, BBQ’s, travelling to tropical destinations, and is an avid sports fan. Whether its Cricket, NBA, or watching his beloved Parramatta Eels in the NRL, Muru’s growth and community goals are never too far from his mind, as he believes we have a huge role to play in helping to close the gap.
Paul is a proud Gamilaray/Wailwan man. He now finds himself at home in Queensland where he started his career in sales.
Paul has worked in car sales, B2B sales and internal sales. He has worked with a wide range of clients from small business to large national corporations. Over this time, he has developed a strong passion for customer experience and providing the highest quality of customer relations.
Paul prides himself on his ability to build and maintain customer relations, fostering growth and sustainability. He is extremely proud to be working with indigenous business to help provide a brighter future for his community and help develop a strong future for his culture.
In his spare time, Paul is a passionate motorsports enthusiast, with a great love of Formula 1 and has been a Ferrari fan his whole life. He also supports his favourite NRL team, the Melbourne Storm.
Jamie is proud Wiradjuri man with well over 25 years’ experience in the sales and account management sector.
He has worked in small, medium and large organisations such as FMCG entity Procter & Gamble where he managed accounts in the commercial space for an 8 year period. This covered stationery and industrial sectors, ironically, overseeing the COS account, Muru’s valuable business partner.
Jamie holds a passion for fostering long term strategic relationships to create positive outcomes for all parties whatever the solution is. As a proud Wiradjuri man his mission is to help Muru Office Supplies provide a superior customer experience and on a deep social and cultural level in creating pathways for Indigenous Australians into the future.
Outside of work with Muru Jamie enjoys time with his wife and daughter undertaking duties as the Indigenous parent representative at his daughter’s primary school. During the winter he keeps himself busy barracking for the Parramatta Eels in the NRL and the Sydney Swans in the AFL, while cheering on his beloved Los Angeles Dodgers in the MLB from afar having played and loved baseball from a young age. Other interests involve family road trips, especially out to Western NSW where his Wiradjuri heritage emanates from.
In July 2020, we welcomed Melanie Butler to the Muru family as our Melbourne based National Account Director. Although residing in Melbourne, Melanie is a proud descendant of the Wiradjuri People, the largest Aboriginal group in central NSW.
With Melanie comes a fresh approach to Account Management, working with her partnerships to provide a varied range of products for today’s “modern offices”.
Now servicing some of Australia’s most prestigious businesses and projects, Melanie draws on twenty year’s experience in Sales and Account Management roles – providing prompt service, industry insights, and a friendly solid point of contact for new client partnerships.
Melanie cultivates lively and strong working relationships with her clients, now specialising in Ergonomic Work From Home and Return To Work Projects, supplying start to end solutions.
